1.1.46. Cowl of a motor compartment

GENERAL INFORMATION

For unlocking of a cowl it is necessary to extend the handle located sideways under the forward panel – the cowl of a motor compartment will be released from the locking device and will sharply rise a little up under the influence of a spring.

At the same time there will be an exhaust handle in a front grille.

Prevention

Before opening of a cowl it is necessary to track that leads of screen wipers were not inclined forward. Otherwise damage of a paint and varnish covering is possible.

Opening

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For opening it is necessary to raise some a cowl and to pull the exhaust handle in the arrow direction. The Zakhvatny hook will be released.

2. Lift a cowl and open it against the stop. The cowl remains abroach under the influence of a gas emphasis.

Closing

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Undertake a cowl from that party where the gas emphasis is located. Pull a cowl down to overcoming of force of counteraction of a gas emphasis, then release a cowl and let's to it fall freely to the lock (it is not necessary to press!)
